Caroline A. Sandberg

Caroline A. Sandberg, 92 of Oswego, passed away Wednesday March 20, 2024 at Asbury Gardens in North Aurora. She was born February 29, 1932 in Evanston, IL; daughter of Henry and Irene (Rhode) Schnackel. Caroline was an account receivables officer at US Bank for over 20 years. She enjoyed working puzzles, knitting but most of all spending time with family and friends; especially her grandchildren. Caroline is survived by her daughter Priscilla (Earl) Castner, 3 grandchildren; Allison Pagan, Curtis Knippen, and Reannah Knippen. 2 great grandchildren; Damien Pagan, Elliana Pagan and a sister Lorraine (the late Lyle) Marquiss. Caroline is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Curtis, a nephew Scott Marquiss and her 2 loving cats; Paws and Angel. Family will be receiving guests Monday March 25, 2024 from 10 am until time of service at 11am at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery.
