Fernando Ramos

Fernando Ramos, 58, of Aurora, IL, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2024. He was born on May 30, 1965 in Durango, Mexico the son of Atilano and Marcelina (de Salgado) Ramos.

Fernando was a jokester and was always the life of the party, dancing and singing karaoke. He had a passion for working on cars, grilling out, and he could fix just about anything.  He had a heart of gold and will always be remembered for his stubborn, yet fun personality, his willingness to always go above and beyond when someone needed help and his dedication to his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children; Marcelina and Joanna Ramos and Omar (Juana Vazquez) Ibarra; mother, Marcelina Marungo Salgado; grandchildren, Anai, Alison, Leila, Johnny, and Chloe; siblings, Sofia (the late Edward) Josupait, Saul (the late Rita) Ramos, Paula Ramos, Alfredo Ramos and Araceli (Juan)Arebalo as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Atilano Ramos; siblings Atilano Ramos, Jose Luis Ramos, Aurelio Ramos and Loreta Bucio as well as nephew, LCPL. Hector Ramos, USMC.

Family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 620 5th Street, Aurora, IL. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
